What it is Controlled cooling is applied to a pinchable fat pocket through an applicator for around 35–60 minutes. The treated fat cells are cleared by the body gradually over the following weeks. One applicator covers one area.

No. Cryolipolysis, Cool Onda Pro, lipo laser and fat-dissolving injections reduce a localised pocket of fat and change shape; they do not move the scale much. The weight-loss programmes and Emerald laser work on overall circumference, and still depend on diet, activity and sleep.
It depends on the treatment and on you. Cryolipolysis is often one session per area, lasers and Cool Onda Pro are planned as short courses, and the programmes run over 10 or 15 sessions. Dr. Kaleem sets the number and spacing at consultation and adjusts it at review.
Recovery depends on the treatment and the person. Pain, swelling, bruising or numbness may occur; some complications can be lasting or require medical treatment. Cryolipolysis has a rare risk of treated fat enlarging. Ask the doctor about the specific risks, recovery and aftercare before deciding.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding, pacemakers or metal implants near the area for energy devices, certain skin or circulatory conditions, and some medicines rule out specific treatments. The medical screen at consultation checks this before anything is planned.
